In a peaceful village setting yet only minutes from the busy towns of Poole, Wareham, Wimborne and Blandford lies the charming Cock and Bottle. This very scenic and most enjoyable pub walk in beautiful unspoilt countryside is on established woodland paths, attractive shaded bridleways, across farm land and along peaceful country lanes. It is a little hilly and best walked in spring time when the snowdrops and bluebells are much in evidence, winter mud can make the going a bit tricky in places.
The Go to Pub Walk button below will take you to the Hall and Woodhouse website and this walk which includes route directions and a map. Other pub walks from the Hall and Woodhouse site are shown under Linked Pub Walks below.

GRIBBLE INN, Oving, Chichester, West Sussex, PO20 2BP Without doubt the Gribble at Oving must surely be one of the most attractive pubs in the county. The pub walk is mainly on quiet country lands so some care is needed.
