The Shipwrights Arms places an emphasis on traditional English pub food and real ales from Kent. It has log fires in winter. Faversham is steeped in history and was an important port in the Middle Ages. The riverside walk takes you over the marshes and then passes Davington Priory which was built in 1153 and remains an imposing presence.
