This walk starts at or near the Durdle Door Holiday Park above Lulworth Cove. From here it goes inland, crossing downland and agricultural land before reaching the Sailor's Return pub in East Chaldon (Chaldon Herring) which is featured in The Good Pub Guide After refreshment, retrace your steps a couple of hundred yards into the village before heading off uphill toward the coast.  More lovely Dorset Downland before you reach the sea. A choice here, of an easy flattish walk back to the car park where you started, or for the more adventurous (less tired), the chance to drop down onto the cliff path and turn East to visit Durdle Door and the beach, before returning back uphill to the car park.  A Lovely day out!
