Both walks pass through a wildflower meadow which is a blaze of colour in early summer, with an abundance of interesting plants and butterflies. You are also likely to see many different birds along the way, with the possibility of Bramblings, Siskins, Nuthatches, Treecreepers, Blackcaps and Willow Warblers in season. Above all year round hovering above will be Red Kites and Buzzards. There are bluebells in the spring and toadstalls in autumn.

These walks have been provided by the Royal Standard of England Pub from a leaflet produced by Buckinghamshire County Council and the Chilterns Conservation Board, with the support of Penn Parish Council and the Royal Standard of England Pub. The leaflet includes their thanks also to local landowners who have allowed permissive access on their land. Non-members of MyFavouritePubWalks.com can also access this walk from www.chilternsaonb.org.

A link to the other walk from The Royal Standard of England is below for completeness and to assist seaching but each download includes a map and directions for both walks.
