The Angel Inn is a small 17th century hotel which features in the Michelin Guide to Eating out in Pubs, The Good Beer Guide and the lucky dip section of The Good Pub Guide which says it offers good fresh food (not cheap by Northern standards) from sandwiches to stylish restaurant meals with up to half a dozen real ales.

Corbridge is an interesting village with many elements unchanged from mediaeval times. It is centred on its church and market place and has attractive views from its 17th century bridge.  The walk includes many fascinating facts about the village.

OS MAPS really enhance enjoyment of pub walks and taking one with you is highly recommended and gives you scope to adapt or extend the walk if you wish.
