The Publican, the leading trade magazine, launched new awards this year to "recognise excellence in food and drink and focus on the outstanding businesses and individuals that drive our dynamic industry forward."

The awards were given in 20 different categories that recognised not only exceptional pubs but also pub companies and pub staff members too. The winners in the pub categories are shown below:
