27 June 2008 - The Good Pub Guide 2008 has become something of a British institution after more than a quarter of a century spent seeking out the best of our pub tradition. Pubs strive for inclusion in this pub-goers bible so its annual awards are always eagerly awaited.

2008 is half over so it won't be that long before 2009 winners are announced and those from 2008 may be almost forgotten. So why not pick one near you, pull out your OS map, walk up an appetite and thirst and then stop off at the pub to experience for yourself the reaon for the accolade.
